Features: China Tobacco possesses the world's largest market scale, but for a long time, it has been evident that there are issues such as an excessive number of enterprises, dispersed organizational structure, extremely low market share in international markets, and weak overall competitive strength. Since the late 1990s, with the goal of improving overall competitiveness and maintaining steady and healthy development, China Tobacco has carried out large-scale restructuring and integration internally while actively pursuing the implementation of the "Go Global" strategy to expand its international market. This book is based on two soft science research projects funded by the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration: "Research on the Restructuring and Integration Strategy of China Tobacco" and "Research on the Implementation of China Tobacco's 'Go Global' Strategy." The book is divided into two parts, the upper part being "Research on the Restructuring and Integration Strategy of China Tobacco," which primarily explores how China Tobacco can enhance its overall competitiveness through restructuring and integration internally; the lower part is "Research on the Implementation of China Tobacco's 'Go Global' Strategy," which primarily discusses how China Tobacco can "go global" to expand its international tobacco market.
