Features: Revisit the story of Abe no Seimei, a sequel compilation of "Onmyoji" doujinshi. The fox-like man who roams the realms of yin and yang performs a passionate dance! Comes with a set of bookmarks titled "Seven Pieces"! "Onmyoji" is hailed as the "peak of Eastern fantasy" and Japan's "Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio." This book is a doujinshi album of "Onmyoji," featuring short stories such as "Like a Butterfly Dance, Dancing Across Heaven and Earth," "Passing a Dragonfly," and "The Night Without Electricity." In our time, describing a man as beautiful is no disrespect—it fully expresses love. Because my admiration for Abe no Seimei portrayed by Manjiro Nomura is beyond words, I began writing (: fictional) stories related to that character. Yet, since I couldn’t tell whether I liked the character or the actor, I returned to the warmth of human relationships after writing ghost stories set in the Heian period. The single-chapter stories follow the original style of "Onmyoji," while the double-chapter ones turned into my own whimsical, narrative essays. That diligent, respectable, and beautiful traditional artist is the entire driving force behind these long stories. Finally, what’s important is, thank you, Manjiro Nomura and the Abe no Seimei of the Nomura family—you’ve made me fall into a youthful obsession that’s been long overdue. Yet, I’m still as delighted as a teenager.

"Several noble young men in the capital have died inexplicably." Bo Ya held a roasted mushroom in his left hand and a wine tray in his right, still holding food fragments in his mouth, as he said with a serious expression. Seimei couldn’t help but laugh. Bo Ya frowned, (: displeased): "What’s so funny about that? It’s a matter of life and death, you idiot! You’re so heartless." Seimei fluttered his bat-like fan to cover his laughing lips: "You look ridiculous!"
"Ridiculous? How is it ridiculous? I was talking about something important!"
"What does that have to do with you?"
"Can’t you see that people’s lives are important?"
"Bo Ya is really a good person." Seimei smiled, turning his gaze to the courtyard.
"Hey, aren’t you going to do anything?" Bo Ya grew impatient, his right leg straightening slightly, his body leaning forward. Seimei glared at him sideways: "Oh oh, Bo Ya, are you planning to resort to violence?"
"Hmph, you heartless guy, I couldn’t care less about you." Bo Ya scoffed and sat up straight again.
"Maybe they just had sudden illnesses and died—just a coincidence. I’m not a doctor." Seimei said lazily.
"Really?" Bo Ya looked puzzled.
"Mm." Seimei’s usual response.
Bo Ya seemed to understand Seimei’s reasoning and smiled awkwardly, continuing to nibble on a grass mushroom. Seimei couldn’t help but chuckle inwardly—Bo Ya was truly an easy-to-trick fool.
The two sat in Seimei’s residence, smiling silently under the warm sunlight of several months. After a long while, Bo Ya realized he’d been tricked by Seimei:
"Wait! How could it be so coincidental? The doctors have all examined them, but there were no symptoms. Everyone says it’s the work of ghosts. The second son of the Right Minister has also died."
