Features: Hai Rui Dragging the Boat tells the story of Hai Rui, a clean and incorruptible official during the Ming Dynasty. He was fair, honest, upright, and brave, daring to fight relentlessly against powerful eunuchs, nobles, corrupt officials, and tyrannical magistrates for the benefit of the people. Once, the notorious villain Yan Song's son-in-law, Zhang Zhibo, arrived as an imperial envoy to inspect the provinces, engaging in corruption and exploiting the people's hard-earned wealth. At that time, Hai Rui was serving as the magistrate of Chun'an County in Zhejiang. When Zhang Zhibo arrived, Hai Rui not only refused to bribe him but instead seized his weaknesses, causing all his schemes to fail. Later, Zhang Zhibo demanded that Hai Rui send four hundred boatmen to drag his boat for him. Seeing that it was the autumn harvest season and the time for farming, Hai Rui refused to mobilize the people and personally took up the task of dragging the boat. Fearing public outrage, Zhang Zhibo had to abandon his request and left Chun'an in disgrace.
