Comrade Wan Li is an older generation of revolutionaries and a loyal executor of Deng Xiaoping's reform and opening-up policy. If Comrade Deng Xiaoping is the chief architect of reform and opening-up, then he is one of the senior engineers. His outstanding contributions to China's revolution and construction, especially to China's reform and opening-up cause, as well as his selfless, fearless, and upright noble character, will be etched in history forever. The book does not record all of Comrade Wan Li's activities in China's revolution and construction but selects several important segments. From the perspective of a biographical work, the book is not systematic or complete, and some important content is missing. Therefore, it cannot yet be called The Biography of Wan Li—for now, it is titled Wan Li. The author will gradually enrich and perfect it, striving to complete The Biography of Wan Li as soon as possible.
