Features: Since the founding of New China, especially since the reform and opening-up, the social status of women in China has significantly improved, making major contributions to promoting economic development and comprehensive social progress. However, due to various historical and realistic reasons, many obstacles and issues still exist in women's development, and phenomena that infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of women occasionally occur. Therefore, creating a social environment conducive to women's liberation and development, striving to promote the coordinated development of gender equality, and fostering the comprehensive development of the economy, society, and individuals are the common responsibility of the whole society. The "Asian Women's Forum," jointly initiated by the Asian Women's Development Association and the Center for the Study of China's Women's Issues at Peking University, aims to study and implement the people-centered scientific development concept and the basic policy of gender equality, contributing to the coordinated development of both genders. The Asian Women's Forum has been held for three sessions. Each session has attracted many scholars and well-known social figures. Each session has focused on gender equality and coordinated development, selecting a specific topic, conducting pre-event research and surveys, and holding discussions during the conference. The book collects the speeches, dialogues, and survey reports from these three sessions.
