Features: Treasure Island is an adventure novel by the British New Romanticism writer Stevenson. The young Jim finds a treasure map among the belongings of the old pirate Billy and discovers that the pirate leader Flint has buried a large sum of treasure on a desert island. The squire Tremloni buys a sailing ship, takes Jim and the doctor Livesey and others with him to go to sea in search of treasure. During the voyage, Jim stumbles upon the fact that out of the 26 crew members, 19 are pirates, and most of them are Flint's men, who are plotting a mutiny to seize the wealth. Unbeknownst to them, Jim, hidden in an apple barrel, overhears them and tells the doctor and others. Thus, a secret faction representing "evil" led by Flint and a faction representing "good" led by the doctor forms on the ship. The doctor Livesey is clever and resourceful, and Jim is witty and brave. After several struggles, the faction led by the doctor finally defeats the Flint gang, which has a clear numerical advantage, and returns with the treasure.
