Author: China Electric Power Enterprise Association (Editor-in-Chief)
Publisher: China Planning Press
Publication Date: 2006-10-01
Features: This specification was issued based on the task assigned by the Ministry of Construction in the notice "On Issuing the Plan for the Formulation and Revision of National Engineering Construction Standards for the 2001-2002 Annual Plan" (Jianbiao [2002] No. 85). The Northwest Electric Power Design Institute revised the "Design Specification for Softening and Desalination of Industrial Water" GBJ109-87. During the revision process, opinions were widely solicited from relevant units across the country, followed by modifications, and finally reviewed and approved by the China Electric Power Enterprise Association. This revision of the "Design Specification for Softening and Desalination of Industrial Water" summarizes China's experience in the design of softening and desalination of industrial water, fully reflects the development of softening and desalination technology, and enhances the scientificity, practicality, and operability of this specification. The specification is divided into 6 chapters and 2 appendices, including General Provisions, Terminology, Water Treatment Station, Softening and Desalination, Drug Storage and Measurement, and Control and Instruments. The main modifications, additions, and deletions are as follows:
1. Added requirements for environmental protection and the installation of supporting wastewater treatment facilities in the General Provisions.
