Features: I have always maintained a friendly and reliable attitude towards life and society. A friendly and reliable attitude can enhance emotions. For writing, a friendly and reliable attitude is essential for inspiration and creating good works. During my two visits to Europe in the autumn of time and space, I embraced Europe with passion and observed, analyzed, and understood it with tranquility. I shared my past understanding of Europe openly but was not confined to it, relying on my own eyes and heart to gain new and more accurate insights. The articles I wrote depict both scenery and emotions, but more importantly, they focus on human culture. When I see something, I don’t want to make simple comparisons or draw hasty conclusions. However, I cannot help but admire truth, goodness, and beauty; and I cannot help but criticize falsehood, evil, and ugliness. As a result, I wrote more than 40 short articles, resulting in this small collection. This collection is the author’s from his visit to Europe. As a member of the Chinese news delegation, both visits coincided with autumn, which is the most enchanting season in Europe. The autumnal charm the author poured into his writing is not just about natural scenery. Faced with the vibrant landscapes, the author calmed his mind. Walking into bustling markets, he immersed himself. He strived to uncover the profound historical and cultural heritage. Despite the rushed schedule, his pursuit was meticulous, his observations careful, and his reflections profound, leaving behind vivid memories. He writes about mountains and waters, cities and villages, but the focus remains on human culture. He strives to capture the cultural essence of mountains and waters, and the depth of cities and villages.
