Features: To preserve the experience and knowledge accumulated by the older generation of intellectuals in China's intellectual treasury, and to ensure the continuity of our society through renewal and metabolism, the Central Committee of the China Democratic League organized this "Interdisciplinary Academic Lecture Series." Colleagues from all over the country came to attend the lectures, and I am very happy to have the opportunity to learn and discuss with all of you, hoping to gain valuable insights. We are facing the challenge of the new technological revolution and urgently need to accelerate intellectual development to narrow the gap between our country and advanced nations. Therefore, cultivating and utilizing talent scientifically and rationally has become the key to our success in the global challenge, making it a pressing task at the moment. Talent cultivation and intellectual development rely on our existing intellectual treasury. In our current intellectual treasury, there are already few intellectuals in their 70s and 80s, and their remaining time is limited—this is the law of nature, inevitable and unresistable.
