Features: The Huangshan Mountain rock carvings are a magnificent gem in the cultural treasury of Huangshan, adding a mystical charm to the already enchanting and perilous beauty of the mountain. The garden managers of Huangshan Mountain Scenic Area, in an effort to promote the profound culture of Huangshan and protect its unique treasures, conducted a comprehensive survey and repainted the rock carvings throughout the mountain, compiling them into this collection. The rock carvings range from single characters to several words, or even dozens or hundreds of characters; they may praise, express emotions, or record visits, all embodying the rich wisdom and sudden inspiration of the predecessors. They condense the deep understanding and concise expression of the sages regarding the beauty of Huangshan, enlightening and awakening people to profound insights. Among the numerous inscriptions on Huangshan, those written by Zou Lu are the most, numbering over 200 characters, each perfectly square and straight, meticulous in every stroke, serving as a model of regular script. Tang Shizun, a man of martial background, wrote in a rough running script. On the Qingluan Peak wall, the inscription "A Steed Stands by the Empty East Sea, Ascending High to View Taiping" is like dragons and snakes in motion, with waves and turns, exuding an unstoppable momentum. Near the Welcome Guest Pine, on the Qingshi Stone, there is a simple and ancient clerical script inscription "Cliffs Touch the Sky in Groups," the work of Zheng Gukou, a renowned calligrapher from the late Ming and early Qing dynasties who specialized in the "Caoquan Stele." The mountain is a gathering place for calligraphers of all generations, with masterpieces too numerous to count.
