This volume is the "Dao Yin Monk Stele." The stele was carved on the 10th day of the 10th month in the Longshuo year (663 AD) of the Tang Dynasty and is located in Xi'an, Shaanxi. It was written by Li Yan and inscribed by Ouyang Tong. This is a mounted copy with 27 and a half sheets, measuring 18 cm in height and 15 cm in width. It bears a title label by Liang Qichao. The seals include "Yinbing Study," "Yinbing Collection," "Liang Qichao," "A Scholar with Deep Thought and Insight," "Yinbing Collection of Stone Inscriptions and Manuscripts," "Liang Qichao's Private Seal," and "Shuangtao Pavilion Collection."
This is a former collection of Liang Qichao, with two of his annotations appended at the end. The rubbing is from the Qianlong and Jiaqing reigns of the Qing Dynasty, specifically a print where the hook stroke of the character "Yu" in the 27th line is followed by the character "Xian" with no stone flecks in the lower right corner of the right side of the character "Ye."
