In the 20th year of the Republic of China, Jiang'an's Chuan Yuefan copied it by hand from the original edition, taking several years. In addition to transcribing all the original text, he also manually drew all 154 illustrations, with meticulous calligraphy and exquisite artwork, making it another excellent version of this collection. Feng Xuan Xuan Pin is a Ming Dynasty guqin score compiled by Zhu Houju in the 18th year of the Jiajing era. It consists of ten volumes. The first volume contains sixty-two textual entries on finger techniques and tuning modes, along with one hundred fifty-four gesture illustrations, most of which are derived from Ta Yin Da Quan Ji. It includes one hundred and one pieces, including thirty-two guqin songs. The Ming Dynasty was a significant period for the development of guqin, with numerous schools such as the Zhe School, the Yushan School, and the Shaoxing School. It also saw a gathering of renowned masters, such as Xu Hezhong, Huang Xian, Yan Cheng, Xu Qingshan, and Zhang Dai. Many guqin scores were published during this time, among which, Shen Qi Mi Pu by Zhu Quan, Feng Xuan Xuan Pin by Zhu Houju, and Xi Lu Tang Qin Tong by Wang Zhi stand out for their extensive collection of ancient tunes, being the closest to the ancient styles of the Tang and Song dynasties.
