Among these, economic growth theory is the fastest-developing and most research-intensive field in macroeconomics and has gradually become the core content of modern macroeconomics.
To reflect this change, the book no longer follows the traditional Keynesian research approach adopted by most domestic textbooks in its structure but instead uses a long-term-to-short-term analytical method, treating economic growth as a key focus of macroeconomics. To facilitate the study and understanding of the development direction of macroeconomics, the last two chapters also include introductions to the relevant knowledge of major schools of modern Western economics. This textbook is particularly suitable for economics theory learning in the undergraduate education stage of general universities.
