Tang Sanzang's Journey West to Free the Demons - Journey to the West: Journey to the West

Author: Zhu Dingchen
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2006-12-01
Features: Zhu Dingchen's Journey to the West to Release Curses and Yang Zhihe's Journey to the West, along with the classic Journey to the West by Wu Cheng'en, were all written during the Ming Dynasty. How do these three works relate to each other, and which came first? Did Zhu's and Yang's versions edit Wu's, or did Wu's version inherit and improve upon Zhu's and Yang's? Academia has yet to reach a consensus on this. This book is suitable for lovers of ancient fiction, and it is especially a valuable resource for scholars of the history of fiction, particularly those studying Journey to the West.
