Chapter 1 Introduction, which provides a general overview of the main content and ideas of the book. Chapter 2 discusses the concept of processing trade and its development status worldwide, and explores the reasons for its rapid growth. Chapter 3 reviews the development of processing trade in China since the reform and opening-up, and analyzes its characteristics and driving factors. Chapter 4 enters the theoretical model section. Although there is a lot of research on processing trade currently, theoretical analysis remains weak, lacking explanatory mathematical models. Chapter 5 explores the impact of processing trade on China's economy and conducts an empirical analysis. Chapter 6 discusses the challenges currently faced by China's processing trade. Chapter 7 studies the changes in China's comparative advantage since the reform and opening-up and the process of structural upgrading of processing trade, proposing ideas for structural adjustment of processing trade.
