Publish Date: 2006-11-01
Features: In the past two to three decades, with the steady development of China's economy, the importance of organizational management has become increasingly prominent. Correspondingly, Industrial and Organizational Psychology (I/O Psychology) has also seen significant growth in China. However, due to its relatively late start and lower initial standards, the research level in China still has a considerable gap compared to international standards. This is particularly evident in the field, where a large number of Western concepts, terminology, theoretical frameworks, and research findings are introduced. Given the differences in Chinese social culture and ecological environment, the direct transplantation of research results obtained by Western scholars using Western participants clearly raises many issues. The Chinese Journal of Social Psychology systematically publishes papers by these scholars to showcase the diverse perspectives and rich academic achievements in the field of Chinese social psychology. Researching and understanding the social psychology of people living in Chinese culture, discovering and revealing the mutual construction process and characteristics of national culture and social psychology, and ultimately serving society and contributing to humanity—this has been the long-standing pursuit of Chinese social psychologists for over a century. The Chinese Journal of Social Psychology systematically publishes papers by these scholars to showcase the diverse perspectives and rich academic achievements in the field of Chinese social psychology.
