Features: Although the development from accounting computerization to financial informatization has only spanned a mere twenty years, informatization has brought unprecedented development opportunities to enterprises. It emphasizes that financial informatization is a management project rather than a purely IT technology project.

The state has clearly outlined the strategy of following a new path of industrialization, and enterprise informatization has received unprecedented attention. However, the practice of enterprise informatization has shown that billions of investments in informatization have not brought the expected returns. There are still some misconceptions in the process of enterprise informatization, such as the "informatization black hole" and the belief that "undertaking informatization projects is suicide, while not doing so is waiting to die." These issues have always plagued the successful implementation of enterprise informatization. Based on the perspective of project management and following IT project implementation methodologies, this book divides financial informatization projects into five stages: the Cognitive Stage, Planning Stage, Implementation Stage, Operation Stage, and Management Stage. On this basis, it objectively analyzes the potential risks and accompanying taboos in each stage, elaborating on solutions to these problems.
