Features: This book was compiled to meet the needs of teaching public law courses in higher education institutions. The teaching of the rule of law in China has brought new requirements and challenges. On one hand, within the extremely limited class hours, it is inevitable to skim over the increasingly numerous and complex laws, making it difficult for students to truly grasp the essence of the law they should master. On the other hand, students come from various majors, and it is essential for them to have relevant legal knowledge combined with their respective fields. However, these specific knowledge points are hard to cover comprehensively in teaching. Faced with this situation, we compiled this textbook. The textbook has the following characteristics: First, it has a broad coverage of content, reflecting a certain systematic structure. This allows teachers to utilize the limited class hours to explain important legal knowledge and concepts, while students can use the textbook's broad coverage and systematic content to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the law. At the same time, it is convenient for teachers to select and teach legal knowledge relevant to different majors. Second, it highlights key points, is well-organized, concise, and uses simple language. We hope this makes it easier for students to study independently. Therefore, this textbook is suitable not only as a teaching material for public law courses but also for individuals interested in law to understand basic legal knowledge.
