Features: A child is prone to develop a sense of superiority. Generally, mothers are very dedicated to the education and upbringing of their daughters. If the child is an only child, then the mother's love and attention are even greater. Although society today is an equal-opportunity society for both genders, it is not entirely fair when it comes to treating men and women. As women, mothers know how to survive in society, and they want to pass on their life experiences to their daughters without reservation. An only child, without siblings, and both being female, the mother's words and actions have a profound impact on her daughter. It can be said that the mother's attitude towards life influences the daughter's attitude towards life. When I discussed the issue of educating children with mothers of children, they often mentioned the question, "How can I raise my daughter without spoiling her while also giving her a good education?" The solution to this problem is simple: first, the rules of each family must be clearly defined; second, the rules must be followed. It is easy to set rules, but sometimes it requires enduring pain to follow them, but no matter what, it must be adhered to. These two points are the golden key to a child's psychological growth. I will give a specific example to explain the rules mentioned here. For instance, if it is stipulated that a child's monthly allowance is 1,000 yen, then it is 1,000 yen; if it is agreed that expensive gifts can only be bought on birthdays and Christmas, then they can only be bought at those times and must be strictly followed. Sometimes, when a child goes to a friend's house, they see new toys and become envious, wanting to have them too. The child may then ask the adults for more allowance or ask for a toy. In this situation, the rules must be strictly followed and cannot be changed. Whether the toys in the friend's house are bought or given, the established rules must be strictly followed and cannot be altered. Parents should explain the reasons to the child, such as saying, "I hope you become a true adult, and adults are those who follow rules, but everything requires patience." Communicating with the child in this way on a daily basis will help them understand and accept it. Of course, every family has its own ideas and specific methods. In the process of following these rules, it is often necessary to get help from grandparents and grandmothers. In fact, grandparents are fond of their grandchildren. I will share a real story with you. Once, an elementary school organized a field trip, and the school clearly stated that each student could bring 1,000 yen in spending money. One student, however, brought 10,000 yen and was asked by the teacher why he had so much money. He replied, "My grandmother gave it to me." He was trying to stand out, but he also violated the school's rules. While his classmates were envious of him, they also cast surprised glances. The teacher couldn't do anything about his behavior; it was too out of place. For matters like bringing money, grandparents should discuss it with the parents in advance, talk it over together, and find a reasonable solution. In a family with only one child, what kind of gift should we give them? In fact, the best gift is to be nurtured with care. In terms of education, grandparents and parents must
