Features: The editing of this book only involves uniform technical processing of the included articles and correction of individual typographical errors, with the original text remaining unchanged. The selected papers span from 1996 in the last century to 2006 in the new century. These papers include in-depth discussions on old topics and explorations of new fields, emphasizing the discovery of new materials, the application of new methods, and the examination of new perspectives. The macro-level discussions are not vague, and the micro-level analyses are not overly detailed, essentially reflecting the development of Sun Yat-sen studies over the past decade. Thus, the title is named "Interdecade Interpretations and Examinations."
In 1996, on the eve of the 130th anniversary of Sun Yat-sen's birth, to better reflect the academic and regional characteristics of Guangdong Social Sciences and support the strong disciplines of the Guangdong Academy of Social Sciences, the editors proposed establishing a permanent column titled "Sun Yat-sen Studies" to promote the development of regional history research in Guangdong, modern Chinese history studies, and the study of Sun Yat-sen and the Xinhai Revolution. This initiative was highly praised by the relevant leaders of the Guangdong Academy of Social Sciences.
