Features: The works presented in this volume are representative examples of our institution's recent professional basic teaching achievements, including innovative and exploratory new creations that showcase the encouraging results of joint efforts by teachers and students. The publication of these works aims to further promote such teaching practices and artistic exploration, facilitate academic exchanges with peer institutions domestically, and provide valuable references for art design majors preparing for the national art college entrance exams and enthusiasts. Our teaching philosophy is to gradually internalize the systematic knowledge of sketching, such as the formation and variation of sketches, holistic observation methods, basic elements of sketching, and general principles of composition, into students' direct understanding, insights, and mastery of sketching.
