Features: In high school Chinese textbooks, classical Chinese works account for approximately 40% of the total number of lessons, doubling the proportion compared to old textbooks, with 80% of the newly added items. Corresponding to the curriculum reform, the value of classical Chinese and poetry appreciation questions in the college entrance examination has also been rising year by year. How to teach and learn classical Chinese well has become a more pressing concern for teachers and students. To improve students' reading ability in classical Chinese and their appreciation of ancient works, and to genuinely help them overcome the difficulties they face in learning classical Chinese, we have compiled the book "Classical Chinese Reading and Linking for Middle Schools." This book follows the principles of being "practical" and "easy to use," taking the newly revised Chinese textbooks from the People's Education Press as the basic selection of texts, supplemented by a large number of beautiful classical Chinese works, and collecting recent college entrance examination questions on classical Chinese and poetry appreciation from various regions over the years. On one hand, it helps students strengthen their reading, comprehension, and consolidation of in-class knowledge. On the other hand, through the supplementation of a large number of articles, it organically combines in-class knowledge with extracurricular reading and college entrance examination preparation, thereby grasping the learning patterns of classical Chinese.
