Based on the "Hangzhou Cooperation Conference of Individual and Private Enterprise Associations in 10 Provinces and Cities," established on June 15, 2006, the team conducted a questionnaire survey on the independent innovation and competitiveness of China's private manufacturing industry across 10 provinces and cities, as well as field investigations into the independent innovation of typical private enterprises in these provinces and cities. The book provides an in-depth summary of private enterprise scale, market power, corporate human resources, technological innovation, policy environment, and independent innovation capabilities, and offers numerous recommendations based on the comparative analysis of the returned questionnaires. Additionally, the book includes case studies of the top 50 private enterprises in China for independent innovation. This book is suitable for decision-makers in various government departments, researchers in research institutions, leaders of enterprises and institutions, media reporters, staff of foreign business offices and consulates in China, as well as all individuals concerned with the development of China's private enterprises.
