Features: Love Is Colder Than Death is a legendary first love lost between reality and fantasy. A diary, a final letter of love, a photo of a young girl, and a strange tale of youth unfold. At the wrong place, at the wrong time, I appeared before her with the wrong intentions. I drew an arc on the paper, and thus, the relentless passage of time was ignored, the rough flow of time was defeated, and a wave in the river of life was frozen, turning into a pearl embedded in the heart of a dreaming sixteen-year-old boy. I think, that must have been love. Compared to the vows of eternal love in fairytale-like romances, this love was so primal it bordered on animality. It was raw, filled with savage ferocity, dark all over, and brimming with desire. It didn’t care about anything, didn’t choose any means, and was ready to burn everything to the ground if it didn’t succeed. I was wrapped in and tormented by such love during the deep winter of my sixteen years, and my first love officially began.
