Features: With the development of the times, the advancement of technology, and the renewal of concepts, people have become skeptical about the utility of sketching. However, at the same time, they have been pleasantly surprised to discover that every artistic development and transformation has seen sketching, as the foundation, always taking the lead. People can only marvel at the famous quote by the Renaissance giant Michelangelo centuries ago: "Sketching is the peak of painting, sculpture, and architecture; sketching is the source and soul of all art forms, and the foundation of all representational arts." Michelangelo was not only a painter but also a property owner and architect. Perhaps it was his profound understanding and insight into sketching that endowed it with deep meaning and great utility. In recent years, the reform of sketching education has been continuously deepened, and design-oriented sketching has been at the forefront. So, how can the concept of design be reflected in sketching? This book strives to combine the concepts of sketching and design, forming a new teaching philosophy of "two-in-one" sketching. It aims to provide groundbreaking inspiration for the close relationship between the foundation and the professional, laying a solid foundation for students' development toward professional fields. Additionally, this book draws on and references the research findings of domestic and international experts and scholars. Some of the views and comments in the book may be personal opinions, and there may be inevitable imperfections. We hope to receive criticism and corrections from experts and readers.
