Features: The practice and theoretical research of regional economic development in China are currently in a vibrant and flourishing state. This can be evidenced by the widespread dissemination of the concept of regional economy from academic circles to the general public and the increasing abundance of regional economy texts on bookstore shelves. So, in the already dazzling array of regional economy publications, is it necessary to add another booklist from Minzu University of China? I believe this necessity depends on our own efforts—to fully leverage the advantage of Minzu University's diverse multicultural resources, inject new elements of ethnic culture into the construction of regional economic theory, highlight the subjective role of people and the humanistic color of regional economy, and demonstrate new characteristics, new heights, and new vitality in academic disciplines. The generation and development of various disciplines in Chinese economics is a rather challenging process. However, it is not necessary to wait for perfection before discussing it; rather, it should be discussed through exploration and explored through discussion, gradually maturing and improving. This process is bound to encounter various "gates" and may also give rise to ideas like "stubborn adherence," "crosswise insistence," or "cutting through with a saw." The key is to clarify the subjectivity and then use rational analysis to seek solutions to contradictions. This book summarizes the achievements of previous scholars, compiles their insights into a textbook, and aims to verify and solicit criticism in teaching, with further improvements. Although it may not cover all economic disciplines, it can still contribute to the scientific development of Chinese economics.
