Features: The authors of this book do not have teaching experience in adult exams. Instead, when selecting authors, all were chosen for their rich experience in adult teaching and participation in various teacher selection processes for this series. Based on this, the "ECNU Adult Exam Book" learns from the strengths of national adult exam books, follows the principle of "adult examinees first," and aims to practically and quickly improve exam scores as its writing philosophy. It is a brand-name "ECNU Adult Exam Book." It serves as teaching materials and workbooks for adult exam institutions across the country and can also be used for self-study by examinees. The main basis for the book's writing is the "Revised Examination Syllabus for Admissions to Higher Education Institutions in Various Parts of the Country—Senior High School Starting from High School Entrance Examination to Undergraduate and Junior College" promulgated by the Ministry of Education in January 2006 (hereinafter referred to as "The Syllabus"). It also references past national adult college entrance examination math papers. The textbook is divided into fifteen chapters, each with four sections:
1. Syllabus Requirements Summary: Extracts the specific requirements of "The Syllabus" for each chapter, helping readers understand the exam requirements for that chapter and guiding them to accurately grasp the content and requirements of the review.
2. Key Knowledge Points: Comprehensively organizes the main knowledge points of the chapter and provides concise interpretations of the key and difficult points, enabling readers to understand not only "what" but also "why."
3. Typical Examples: Carefully selects highly representative typical examples and provides detailed analysis and solutions based on the actual situation and characteristics of adult examinees. The difficulty of the examples is analyzed and solved in detail, and key, difficult, and confusing points are summarized and generalized. The selection of examples considers both the review and consolidation of knowledge points and the targeted requirements of "The Syllabus."
4. Exercises: To help readers truly master the learned content through learning and review in each chapter, the selected exercises are purposeful, highly matched, and appropriately challenging, enabling self-assessment. The book also includes reference answers or hints for the exercises at the end.
Throughout the writing process, the authors fully recognize the learning characteristics of adult learners and strive to be practical, easy to understand, step-by-step, and clear, aiming to achieve the effect of "teaching oneself without a teacher."
