Features: To meet the urgent need for ultrasound professionals and clinical physicians in China to learn and improve ultrasound diagnostic techniques, we have summarized our years of experience in clinical ultrasound diagnosis practice and research, and referred to relevant domestic and international literature to compile "Practical Abdominal Ultrasound Diagnosis." The content includes the fundamentals of ultrasound physics, clinical foundations of abdominal ultrasound diagnosis, correct ultrasound anatomical sections of all abdominal organs, ultrasound examination techniques, indications, normal sonograms, abnormal sonograms, sonogram diagnosis and differential diagnosis, clinical value, and more. It also provides a systematic introduction to the application of endoscopic ultrasound in the digestive system. It strives to reflect the latest advanced technologies and ultrasound diagnostic research achievements in recent years both domestically and internationally. The book consists of 25 chapters and approximately 1.8 million words, featuring over 1,200 selected images. The second edition focuses on novelty and practicality. It has been streamlined in the sections of "Fundamentals of Ultrasound Physics" and "Clinical Foundations of Abdominal Ultrasound Diagnosis," and has added four new chapters: "Interventional Ultrasound," "Three-Dimensional Ultrasound," "Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasound," and "High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU)." Although the application of HIFU is still immature, it has been briefly introduced to reflect China's research achievements in interventional ultrasound. We hope this second edition will benefit a broad range of ultrasound professionals and clinical physicians, as well as assist medical students.
