Features: The book is divided into thirteen chapters and eight practical sessions. The first five chapters cover the introduction to health preservation, health and health preservation, community health, family health preservation, and self-health preservation, primarily introducing the basic content of health preservation in a macro and horizontal manner. The following eight chapters discuss the different health preservation content involved in different physiological periods of the human body, namely health preservation for newborns and infants, health preservation for young children and preschoolers, health preservation for school-aged children, health preservation for adolescents, health preservation for young adults, health preservation for middle-aged adults, health preservation for the elderly, and health preservation for women, primarily systematically introducing the basic methods of health preservation in a longitudinal manner. The practical sessions included are closely linked to the essential theoretical knowledge and the actual health preservation work commonly found in communities, providing students with a learning space that bridges theory and practice. The content of this textbook is basically consistent with the teaching plan and syllabus, but considering the applicability of the textbook, Chapter 3 on community health preservation has been expanded to include community health surveys, community screening, and community diagnosis. In Chapter 5 on self-health preservation, health foods have been added. In the chapters related to health preservation for different populations, the prevention and treatment of common diseases have been included to enrich the content of the book and make the textbook more (closer to the community) and more (practical).
