Features: The development of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) hinges on talent cultivation, and talent cultivation relies on education. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the Party and government placed great emphasis on TCM education. Among the first five TCM medical schools established in the country—Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing, and Chengdu—along with subsequent institutions such as those in Hubei and Shandong—gathered a group of highly skilled TCM professionals as faculty. In the early days of their establishment and over nearly 40 years of teaching, medical practice, and scientific research, these educators either developed unique theoretical perspectives or demonstrated distinctive clinical expertise, forming their own distinctive styles. They made outstanding contributions to the advancement of TCM education. This book is the fourth volume of Academic Integrations of Renowned TCM Scholars from National Higher TCM Medical Schools. It comprehensively reflects the academic essence of 12 distinguished TCM scholars from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, including Li Ke Guang. The book is divided into three parts: Biographical Sketches, Academic Thoughts and Experiences, and Bibliography of Works. With reliable materials and accessible language, it accurately and concisely introduces the academic ideas of the scholars while also selecting typical diagnostic and treatment cases to summarize their clinical practices.
