Features: This code was developed in accordance with the requirements of Document No. 2630 (1986) of the former State Planning Commission, and was organized and supervised by the National Acoustics Standard Technical Committee and the Building Acoustics Sub-technical Committee. It was specifically compiled by a working group consisting of Tongji University, Beijing Architectural Design and Research Institute, China Radio and Television Broadcasting Film and Television Design and Research Institute, Southeast University, Tsinghua University, China Academy of Building Research, and China Film Science and Technology Research Institute. Based on extensive research and practical experience, the working group proposed a draft for comments, sent it to relevant units across the country for feedback, and held a symposium with participants from domestic institutions for in-depth discussions. After soliciting widespread opinions and revising the draft repeatedly to form a final draft, it underwent a national review meeting and was reviewed by the National Acoustics Standardization Technical Committee before being finalized and submitted for approval in 1991. In 2004, following the requirements of Document No. 4 (2004) of the Standard and Quota Department of the Ministry of Construction, the working group continued to revise and organize the code, which was finally approved and finalized by the Standard and Quota Department of the Ministry of Construction in conjunction with relevant departments. The main technical content of this code includes: 1. General Provisions; 2. Terms and Symbols; 3. Theaters; 4. Cinemas; 5. Multi-purpose Halls; 6. Noise Control. It primarily specifies technical indicators such as the design of audience hall shapes, reverberation time of audience halls, and noise limits.
