Features: This book takes the currently most popular MCS-51 series microcontroller in China as the subject of discussion, comprehensively describing its system architecture, working principles, characteristics of internal functional devices, and design techniques and methods for building microcontroller-based application systems. The book is divided into six chapters.
Chapter 1 introduces the organization and functions of the MCS-51 microcontroller. It includes the composition of the CPU and its related registers and control signals; the structure, types, and usage characteristics of memory; the structure, functions, and usage characteristics of I/O interfaces; the pins, clock, reset circuit, CPU timing, and minimal system composition of the MCS-51 microcontroller.
Chapter 2 introduces the instruction system of the MCS-51 microcontroller. It first provides the addressing modes of the MCS-51 microcontroller, then briefly describes the assembly language instructions of the MCS-51 microcontroller, categorized by instruction function.
Chapter 3 introduces C language programming for the MCS-51 microcontroller. It first covers the data memory structure and addressing modes of the MCS-51, as well as the assembly language instruction system of the MCS-51. Building on this foundation, it focuses on C language programming for the MCS-51 microcontroller, primarily presenting examples related to the MCS-51.
Chapter 4 introduces the structure, functions, working modes, and related special function registers of the internal functional components of the MCS-51 microcontroller. The application programming of these components is implemented using C language programs.
Chapter 5 introduces the system expansion methods of the MCS-51 microcontroller. It first outlines the tasks of system expansion, the bus structure of system expansion, including parallel and serial (I2C) buses. It then explains the expansion methods for program memory and data memory. Finally, it focuses on introducing and detailing the characteristics of the forward and backward channels in microcontroller-based application systems, the composition and structure of the data acquisition subsystem and A/D conversion technology, the characteristics of the backward channel and D/A conversion technology, as well as the characteristics of the human-machine channel, LED digital display technology, and keyboard processing technology.
