Features: Calculus is an important foundational course in higher education institutions and one of the mandatory subjects for the national postgraduate entrance examination for engineering students. Due to the limitation of class hours, this course cannot comprehensively cover the breadth and depth of its content, as well as the problem-solving methods. To help students with strong academic performance improve their mathematical skills, we have compiled the book "Calculus Exam Sprint." This book consists of two parts: Part 1 includes twelve chapters, which are systematically organized based on the knowledge system of the "Calculus" textbook by Tongji University. Each chapter combines typical examples to provide a relatively comprehensive discussion of the basic problem types and solution methods. For more challenging problem types, we have provided fixed thinking patterns to help students deepen their understanding of mathematics, master problem-solving techniques, and improve their problem-solving abilities in a short period of time. Each chapter is accompanied by practice questions and answers for self-assessment. Part 2 is the appendix. The appendix provides the questions, solutions, and analyses of the undergraduate A and B group competitions for the twelfth, thirteenth, and fourteenth sessions of the Beijing University Student Mathematical Contest in Modeling (MCM) and the calculus section questions and answers for the 2002–2004 postgraduate entrance examinations. These are provided for reference. This book can serve as both a preparatory textbook for calculus competition exams and a valuable resource for college students and mathematics enthusiasts to enhance their mathematical proficiency or prepare for postgraduate studies. It is a teaching reference book with distinctive features.
