Charles Correa (Volume 2) (Famous Foreign Architects Series)

Author: Wang Fang
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2003-09-01
Features: The writing style of this series' second volume is basically based on the model. The four published volumes—James Stirling, Kisho Kurokawa, Kazuyo Sejima, and Norman Foster—have been well-received by readers both domestically and internationally, just like the series. It is particularly noteworthy that some volumes, such as Kazuyo Sejima and Norman Foster, received enthusiastic and friendly cooperation from the architects themselves during the writing process. They proactively and voluntarily provided a large amount of technical materials (including self-authored prefaces, illustrations and photographs of works, and original books), significantly improving the image quality and printing quality of the collections. We are currently organizing the topic selection and publishing plans for the third volume of the series, aiming to build a broad bridge of friendship between Chinese and foreign architects through the to the third volume. This will allow our domestic architectural peers to gain a comprehensive and multi-perspective understanding of world-class renowned architects abroad, truly achieving the purpose of publishing this series.
