Article 1.0.1 This specification applies to the construction and acceptance of building projects for thermal power plants or heat and power plants with unit capacity of 50,000 to 600,000 kW. Projects with a capacity below 50,000 kW may refer to this specification for implementation.
Article 1.0.2 This specification was formulated based on the summary of domestic experience in thermal power plant construction, targeting the characteristics of thermal power plant construction and focusing on major engineering projects.
Article 1.0.3 For matters not specified in this specification, the current national standards for construction and acceptance of building projects and relevant provisions of current ministerial standards shall be followed.
Article 1.0.4 When new materials, new structures, or new construction technologies are used, they must be accompanied by certification and verified through on-site testing before being put into use.
Article 1.0.5 In expansion projects, data of the original buildings or structures should be obtained, and reliable measures should be taken to properly handle the connection between new and old buildings or structures to ensure the safety of the existing buildings or structures.
Article 1.0.6 If loads not considered in the design are to be placed on the building structure (e.g., lifting heavy objects, setting up wind guy ropes, stacking equipment, etc.), calculations must be performed, and the design unit must approve the placement before implementation.
