Features: The "Technical Specifications for Construction of Highway Asphalt Pavements" (JTGF40—2004) is hereby issued and shall come into effect from January 1, 2005. The original "Technical Specifications for Construction of Highway Asphalt Pavements" (JTJ032—94) and "Technical Specifications for Construction of Modified Asphalt Pavements" (JTJ036—98) shall be simultaneously abolished. The "Technical Specifications for Construction of Highway Asphalt Pavements" (JTGF40—2004) is compiled by the Highway Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport. The management and interpretation rights of the standard belong to the Ministry of Transport, while the daily interpretation and management work are handled by the Highway Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport. All relevant units are requested to accumulate data and summarize experience in practice, and promptly report any issues or suggestions for revision to the Highway Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport (No. 8 Xitucheng Road, Haidian District, Beijing, Zip Code: 100088) for reference in the revision process.
