Features: Since the first edition of this book was published in September 1999, it has played a positive role in guiding the production and construction of waterproofing materials for over two years. During this period, many new standards for waterproofing materials and construction techniques have been issued by the state and relevant departments. Some provinces and cities have issued provincial standards for waterproofing material testing and application technical procedures. At the same time, many standards and construction specifications have been abolished by the state and provincial departments. On July 4, 2001, the Ministry of Construction issued Document No. 27, titled "Notice on the Issuance of Announcements on Chemical Building Materials and Products," which specified four categories for waterproofing materials: preferred, recommended, restricted, and phased out. In accordance with the requirements of the national chemical building materials industry policy, the "Compendium" has been revised. The revised "Compendium" has added more than 50% new standards. This book contains a total of 66 standards, specifications, and procedures, including 40 material standards and 26 construction specifications and procedures.
