Features: The author previously edited and published "Selected Important Documents on Engineering Construction Standardization" in 1997. In recent years, a series of laws, regulations, departmental rules, and normative documents related to engineering construction standardization, as well as local rules and regulations, have been successively promulgated and implemented, providing a legal framework for the work of engineering construction standardization. To better implement these regulatory documents and further strengthen the management of engineering construction standardization in surveying, planning, design, construction, supervision, and oversight, we have carefully selected and organized relevant laws, regulations, and related documents. Based on "Selected Important Documents on Engineering Construction Standardization," we have supplemented and adjusted the content, which reflects the basic outline of the development of engineering construction standardization under the market economy system. It serves as a guiding tool for engineering construction standardization work and provides a reliable reference for those engaged in the management of engineering construction standardization. The content of "Selected Important Documents on Engineering Construction Standardization" (2005 Edition) mainly includes the following four aspects:
1. Laws and administrative regulations promulgated by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and the State Council;
2. Comprehensive rules and normative documents;
3. Departmental rules and normative documents;
4. Local rules and normative documents.
In the appendix of the "Selected Important Documents," the following three aspects of content are included:
1. Part of the ISO/IEC Guidelines;
2. List of Advanced Collectives in National Engineering Construction Standardization Work;
3. List of Excellent Standards in National Engineering Construction.
