Features: This standard is composed of four parts: civil engineering, rail engineering, communication engineering, and signal engineering. The civil engineering section includes construction methods such as underground excavation, cut-and-cover, and open-cut. The rail engineering section covers construction of underground mainline tracks, ground-level tracks, and depot tracks. The communication and signal engineering sections include construction of above-ground and underground communication and signal systems. It consists of a total of 28 chapters and 511 sub-items. This standard is applicable to newly built and expanded subway projects within urban areas. The basis for compiling this standard is as follows:

2. National Unified Basic Engineering Construction Standards (1995);
3. National Unified Budget Standards for Installation Engineering (2000);
4. Design Code for Urban Rail Transit GB50157-92;
5. Construction and Acceptance Code for Urban Rail Transit GB50299-1999;
6. Railway Engineering Budget Standards of the Ministry of Railways (1995);
7. Standard drawings, general drawings, design drawings, and relevant standard data provided by subway companies, design units, and construction units in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and other cities.
