Since its publication, the 1996 edition of the National Standards Compilation for Metal Mechanical and Technological Performance Testing Methods has received enthusiastic support and affection from readers, contributing to the development of metal mechanical and technological performance testing methods in China. The 1996 edition has now been sold out. Some of the standards included in the 1996 edition have been revised. To ensure that readers are informed of the new standards and can systematically understand metallurgical industry standards, this compilation has been included in the Metallurgical Industry Series Standards Compilation and is now being published as the second edition.
