Features: Since the reform and opening-up, residential construction in China has experienced rapid development. With the introduction of numerous residential communities, the deepening of housing system reform, the promotion of institutional reform, and the continuous improvement of people's living standards and their focus on living and environmental quality, property management has become increasingly important and more widely accepted. To regulate and develop property management, the state and relevant departments have attached great importance to it. The Fourth Session of the Ninth National People's Congress passed the "Outline of the 10th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of the People's Republic of China," which explicitly stated the need to "standardize and develop the property management industry." This important decision has clarified the direction for the development of property management in China. Relevant departments have also successively formulated regulations such as the "Management Measures for Newly Built Urban Residential Communities" and the "Interim Measures for Property Management Service Fees in Urban Residential Communities," along with other regulatory documents. As a specialized form of management, property management requires various highly qualified management personnel. The introduction and publication of this "Professional Handbook of Property Management" aim to promote the continuous updating of professional knowledge for management and technical personnel and the comprehensive improvement of staff service skills. This book, compiled by the Hong Kong Real Estate Institute, is divided into three parts and ten chapters, covering everything from overall management design to individual facility management, with rich and comprehensive content.
