Features: The 1994 National Civil Service Examination organized by the State Personnel Department marked the first Central and National Administrative Civil Service Recruitment Examination. It has been ten years since then. Over the past decade, the National Civil Service Recruitment Examination has undergone a process of practice, exploration, improvement, and standardization. In the past year, the National Civil Service Recruitment Examination has seen significant changes in its format, content, and direction.
I. Administrative Professional Ability Test (APAT) (A, B categories)
1. The original "Administrative Professional Aptitude Test" has been changed to "Administrative Professional Ability Test."
2. The original "Verbal Comprehension and Expression" section has been supplemented with "Listening Comprehension" (including audio recordings).
3. The original separate "Public Knowledge" exam and the original "Common Sense Judgment" section of the APAT have been replaced with "Basic Knowledge" (including "Public Knowledge").
4. The "Judgment and Reasoning" section has been canceled, with "Mechanical Reasoning" merged into "Definition Judgment."
II. Essay Writing
1. The original summary questions, countermeasure questions, and argumentative questions have been combined into a single "Comprehensive Question" or a "Three-in-One Comprehensive Question."
2. The writing style is now more closely aligned with the actual work of civil servants, emphasizing the assessment of practical abilities.
III. Interview
1. Based on the structured interview, advanced methods such as "Psychological Assessment" and "Scenario Simulation" have been adopted.
2. The assessment content is more personalized, tailored to the competency requirements of different positions.
