Features: The Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Personnel decided to implement the National Examination for Registered Urban Planners since 2000, which has been in place for 6 years. Since the China Architecture & Building Press organized experts to publish the "National Examination Guidance Materials for Registered Urban Planners," it has been well-received by readers and continuously reprinted. In response to the new adjustments in the examination syllabus and the emerging changes in exam questions, the China Architecture & Building Press organized the editorial committee to jointly write this second edition of the "National Examination Guidance Materials for Registered Urban Planners." To help candidates achieve effective review results in a relatively short time for exam preparation, the guidance materials are divided into four volumes: "Urban Planning Principles," "Relevant Knowledge of Urban Planning," "Urban Planning Management and Regulations," and "Urban Planning Practice." The writing team is well-organized and reasonably divided. Experts with years of experience in urban planning management practice in Beijing have written "Urban Planning Management and Regulations" and "Urban Planning Practice," while senior professors from the Urban Planning Department of Xi'an Jiaotong University have written "Urban Planning Principles" and "Relevant Knowledge of Urban Planning." The members of the editorial committee include those who have taught in Beijing's Registered Urban Planner examination guidance classes and those who were former editorial committee members of the "Designated Textbook for the National Examination for Registered Urban Planners." They are familiar with the key points and difficulties of the exam and have conducted in-depth research on question types, especially the multiple-choice questions introduced after 2002. Each volume of the guidance materials is mainly divided into three parts: "Review Guidance," "Review Question Solutions," and "Mock Exams." The "Review Guidance" includes an analysis of the examination syllabus and a summary of key points and difficulties to help candidates reinforce their memory. The "Review Question Solutions" focus on analyzing frequently encountered doubts and difficulties from previous exams, clarifying incorrect thinking and establishing correct answer approaches. The three volumes of "Urban Planning Principles," "Relevant Knowledge of Urban Planning," and "Urban Planning Management and Regulations" have added answers to multiple-choice questions, while "Urban Planning Practice" provides direct and concise analysis methods and brief answer strategies based on problems identified in previous exam papers, enabling candidates to accurately grasp the key points for scoring. The mock exams are diverse and comprehensive. The three volumes of "Urban Planning Principles," "Relevant Knowledge of Urban Planning," and "Urban Planning Management and Regulations" have added a large number of multiple-choice questions, while "Urban Planning Practice" adopts a "" simulation approach. All four volumes of the guidance materials have mock exams that are highly applicable to the exam and highly targeted.
