Features: This standard is a revision of JC/T457—1992 "Ceramic Split Tiles." It is equivalent to Appendix D of ISO13006:1998 "Definition, Classification, Performance, and Marking of Ceramic Tiles," specifically the "Extruded Ceramic Tile with Water Absorption 6 < E ≤ 10" (Class AⅡb). The main technical differences between this standard and JC/T457-1992 "Ceramic Split Tiles" are as follows: stricter requirements for dimensional deviations, surface quality, frost resistance, and thermal shock resistance, as well as the addition of technical requirements such as breaking strength, glaze cracking resistance, coefficient of friction for floor tiles, pollution resistance, impact resistance, and small color differences. This standard is applicable to product quality certification. When determining the limit values in this standard using measured or calculated values, the rounding value comparison method is adopted. This standard shall take effect simultaneously with the replacement of JC/T457-1992 upon implementation. This standard was proposed by the National Building Materials Industry Standardization Research Institute. The standard is under the jurisdiction of the Xianyang Ceramic Research and Design Institute. The drafting units of this standard are the National Building Materials Industry Standardization Research Institute, Xianyang Ceramic Research and Design Institute, Guangdong FOTILE Group Shiwān Artistic Ceramic Factory Co., Ltd., and Dongfang City Product Quality Inspection Institute.
