Features: Since its publication, the "Series of China Mechanical Industry Standard Compendia" has been recognized and praised within the industry, playing a positive role in promoting the development of mechanical industry technology and the dissemination and implementation of standards. The newly published "China Mechanical Industry Standard Compendium - Splines and Key Connections Volume (Second Edition)" retains all valid standards of the previous edition while adding 14 national standards and 1 industry standard for splines and key connections approved and published from 1998 to the end of November 2004, and removes superseded standards. The attributes of national and industry standards in this volume are indicated in the table of contents (GB or GB/T and JB or JB/T), with years represented by four digits. Given that some of the standards in this volume were published before the cleanup and restructuring, they have not yet been revised, and the original text of these standards remains unchanged. When using these standards, their attributes should be referred to as indicated in the table of contents (please note that readers should verify the attributes of referenced standards in the "References" section of the standard text). This volume was jointly selected and compiled by the Third Editorial Office of China Standard Press and the National Technical Committee on Standardization of Machine Shafts and Accessories, collecting a total of 32 national and industry standards for splines and key connections approved and published by the end of November 2004.
