Features: To accelerate the further development of China's solar water heater industry, continuously improve product technology and quality, and cultivate a standardized market, relevant national departments have focused on and implemented three key areas over the past two years:
First, promoting industrial development and cultivating a standardized market, while accelerating the formulation of standards. Currently, a preliminary solar water heater standard system has been established, a national product quality inspection and certification center has been set up, technological progress and product innovation have been advanced, and the solar water heater market has been regulated.
Second, organizing and implementing scientific and technological research and pilot demonstrations on the integration of solar water heaters with buildings, summarizing and proposing new technologies and methods, and compiling standards and specifications for the integration of solar water heaters with buildings.
Third, implementing technological transformation projects to promote industrial upgrading. Utilizing 175 million yuan in technological transformation funds and national debt funds, the production lines of three key solar water heater enterprises, which were voluntarily reported and recommended by local governments, have been technologically transformed. Encouragement and support have also been provided to key enterprises to establish R&D centers to enhance innovation capabilities.
