Publish Date: 2001-09-01
Features: In terms of overall strength, I believe Wang Anyi ranks among the top female writers in China today. No other female writer can match her in terms of the quantity and variety of her works; she has consistently been changing readers' tastes. This is a series of books themed around compiling classic works by outstanding contemporary Chinese-language writers, poets, and playwrights, all of which are individual collections. It does not emphasize summaries; instead, it focuses on presentation, presenting the overall literary state of Chinese literature authentically after more than two decades of exploration.
