Features: Taking the teaching reform of the "Regional Tourism Planning" course as an example, its results demonstrate the following four characteristics:
1. A significant enhancement in students' learning interest. The teaching of Regional Tourism Planning, in addition to classroom instruction, consistently emphasizes practical teaching. Based on thorough preparatory work and accurate data collection, we guide students to conduct field investigations. On one hand, students can personally experience the beauty of nature; on the other hand, they gain extensive knowledge beyond textbooks, greatly boosting their learning interest.
2. A notable improvement in students' ability to analyze problems. Since students are engaged in every teaching, coupled with the opportunity for hand investigations, they not only identify problems but also develop the ability to discover them.
3. A marked enhancement in students' ability to solve practical problems. Once problems are identified, finding solutions is a crucial aspect of skill development.
4. A significant improvement in students' innovative capabilities. One of the key roles of practical teaching and research-oriented teaching is to help cultivate students' innovative abilities.
To summarize the outstanding achievements of the students and to provide these results as a reference for future students, we have specially compiled this collection, "Innovative Essays on Tourism Development and Planning by University Students." These essays represent only a small aspect of our two majors' implementation of the "Three-in-One Teaching Model," which aims to strengthen students' innovative and practical abilities.
