Chinese characters are beautiful, as they originated from pictures; they are great, as they have recorded countless and extremely rich cultural materials in the long history of thousands of years; they are magical, as they can transcend the limitations of space and time; the charm of Chinese characters is unparalleled. They not only make the overseas and domestic descendants of the Chinese nation feel proud but also cross national boundaries, being adopted by neighboring countries such as Japan, North Korea, South Korea, and Vietnam to record non-Chinese languages. With the development, prosperity, and great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation today, Chinese characters are being valued by more and more countries. The splendid and glorious Chinese character culture embodies the labor, sweat, heart, and wisdom of the ancestors of the Han ethnic group. Since ancient times, the Han people have used this magical tool they created to record the Chinese language and facilitate ideological exchange. Chinese character culture has played an irreplaceable role in defending against external enemies, uniting the nation internally, striving for self-improvement, procreating, and standing independently among the nations of the world.
