He endured hardships and fulfilled his mission, ensuring the implementation of the Central Committee and Chairman Mao's policies on Tibet, safeguarding the integrity and unification of the motherland's territory and sovereignty, and defending the southwest border of the motherland. During his 15 years in Tibet, he adhered to the principle of proceeding from the actual conditions of Tibet and pursuing stable development, uniting and leading the staff of the Central People's Government and the People's Liberation Army who entered Tibet, guiding the Tibetan people to achieve a great leap forward from a feudal serfdom system to a socialist system, and training a large number of ethnic cadres. He patiently united and educated patriotic upper-class figures, developing the socialist economy and cultural construction of Tibet in a planned and step-by-step manner. With loyalty, courage, and wisdom, he defended the sacred territory of the motherland, led a group of selfless and dedicated communists with unwavering commitment and unity, and nurtured the flowers of ethnic unity with his passionate efforts. His spirit, achievements, and demeanor will forever be engraved on the monument of Tibet's historical development and forever be remembered in the hearts of the people of all ethnic groups in Tibet.
This album is divided into seven parts, recreating from different historical stages the great historical contributions made by Comrade Zhang Jingwu to Tibet's liberation and construction efforts during his 15 years in Tibet. Many of the materials in the album are published for the first time and hold high research and collection value.
